Bhagavad Gita 1.24
सञ्जय उवाच । एवमुक्तो हृषीकेशो गुडाकेशेन भारत । सेनयोरुभयोर्मध्ये स्थापयित्वा रथोत्तमम् ॥
sañjaya uvāca: evam ukto hṛṣīkeśo guḍākeśena bhārata | senayor ubhayor madhye sthāpayitvā rathottamam ||
Translation
Sanjaya said: O descendant of Bharata, thus addressed by Gudakesha, Hrishikesha, having stationed the best of chariots between the two armies,

Where did someone do exactly what you asked, and that's how you ended up here?

Krishna does it. No comment. No counsel. The driver drives. Guḍākeśa, conqueror of sleep, is the epithet Sanjaya chooses for Arjuna in the moment Arjuna is about to lose his composure entirely. The wakeful one is about to be undone by waking up too far. Krishna registers what is coming. He does not stop the chariot short. He delivers Arjuna to the place Arjuna asked to be delivered to.
