Bhagavad Gita 11.3
एवमेतद्यथात्थ त्वमात्मानं परमेश्वर | द्रष्टुमिच्छामि ते रूपमैश्वरं पुरुषोत्तम ||
evam etad yathāttha tvam ātmānaṁ parameśvara | draṣṭum icchāmi te rūpam aiśvaraṁ puruṣottama ||
Translation
As you have described yourself, so it is, O supreme lord. I wish to see your divine form, O supreme person.

What teaching have you received in words that you are now ready to receive in seeing?

The request is laid down clearly. As Krishna has just described Himself, so it is. Evam etad. The student accepts the testimony. Then he asks for one thing. Drashtum icchami, I wish to see, te rupam aishvaram, your form of sovereign power. The address shifts again, to parameshvara and purushottama, supreme lord and highest person. He is not asking for a parlour trick. He is asking the lord of the worlds to make visible what the lord has just declared in words. The phrasing is precise. Not any form. The form of His own ishvara nature. The verse models how the seeker asks. The teaching has been received. The student names what he hopes is possible.
