Bhagavad Gita 9.13
महात्मानस्तु मां पार्थ दैवीं प्रकृतिमाश्रिताः | भजन्त्यनन्यमनसो ज्ञात्वा भूतादिमव्ययम् ||
mahātmānas tu māṁ pārtha daivīṁ prakṛtim āśritāḥ | bhajanty ananya-manaso jñātvā bhūtādim avyayam ||
Translation
But the great-souled, O Pārtha, sheltering in the divine nature, worship me with mind set on nothing else, knowing me as the imperishable origin of beings.

The opposite type. The great-souled take refuge in the divine nature, knowing Krishna as the imperishable source of beings, and they worship Him with the mind set on no other object. Ananya-manasah is the load-bearing phrase. The mind is not divided across two or three rival anchors. It rests on one. This single-mindedness is not the result of effort to suppress competing pulls. It is the result of having understood the source correctly. When the mind sees clearly what holds the world together, the question of where to give its attention is no longer interesting. The great-souled are not described as having stronger discipline. They are described as having clearer sight.
