Bhagavad Gita 8.11
यदक्षरं वेदविदो वदन्ति विशन्ति यद्यतयो वीतरागाः | यदिच्छन्तो ब्रह्मचर्यं चरन्ति तत्ते पदं संग्रहेण प्रवक्ष्ये ||
yad akṣaraṁ veda-vido vadanti viśanti yad yatayo vīta-rāgāḥ | yad icchanto brahmacaryaṁ caranti tat te padaṁ saṅgraheṇa pravakṣye ||
Translation
That which knowers of the Vedas call the indestructible, which the self-restrained free of passion enter, in pursuit of which they undertake the discipline of Brahman, that goal I will declare to thee briefly.

Read this verse in its chapter: Chapter Eight
He names what is coming next as concise. The akshara, the indestructible, named by those who know the Vedas. The state the disciplined enter when they are free of attachment. The goal in pursuit of which seekers undertake the discipline of Brahman. He has put it down in three angles and will now give the practical path in as few words as possible. The verse is a hinge. The teaching is about to compress itself into a single instruction, and he is signalling that the listener should pay close attention. What comes next is not theory. It is what to actually do.
